About me

Hi, I’m Kwanyoung Terp, the creator of Blueprint Korea and a private guide based in Seoul. I started Blueprint Korea with one simple goal: to help international travelers—especially visitors from the U.S.—experience Korea with clarity, comfort, and confidence.
For more than 13 years, I worked with Cartier, supporting VIP clients and managing high‑end customer experiences across Asia. That career taught me the value of thoughtful service, attention to detail, and creating moments that feel personal and memorable. Today, I bring that same approach to travel.
What do I do now
Through Blueprint Korea, I share practical travel tips, cultural insights, and local recommendations to help visitors understand Korea beyond the surface. My writing focuses on what travelers truly want to know—how to get around, where to stay, what to eat, how to navigate cultural differences, and how to enjoy Korea like a local.
Alongside the blog, I offer private, customizable tours for guests who want a more personal and elevated experience. Whether you’re visiting for the first time, planning a romantic trip, traveling with family, or simply wanting a smoother journey, I design tours that match your interests, pace, and comfort.
My Philosophy
Travel should feel effortless.
My goal is to make Korea feel welcoming, easy to understand, and full of meaningful moments—whether you’re reading my articles or exploring the country with me in person.
